It's Coming Out Day, so here goes.
Oct. 11th, 2019 05:34 pmI'm bisexual.
Until today I could count the number of people who know on one hand. I'm married to a cishet man and I've never had a relationship with a woman. I didn't want to deal with people asking me, "are you sure? How do you really know?" I was scared I wasn't entitled to my identity. I hated the idea that people might think I was putting it on for attention, or to feel special, or that it was "just a phase."
It's not a phase. I've known, deep down, since I was sixteen. I'm going to be thirty in January and it's time to be a big girl and call myself what I am.
I'm bi. I'm not scared any more.
Happy Coming Out Day <3
