Chantress has an AMAZING voice.

And it gives an insight to how people read the story; were so accustomed to it, that it’s hard sometimes to realise that everyone will read it differently

Yes! I think it was Neil Gaiman who said that no two people ever read the same story, because everyone makes it different in their head.

Oh yes, that’s surely true!

I've had that happen too! A couple of other podficcers have recorded fics I wrote, and it's the most peculiar sensation to listen to them because the story's so familiar and yet completely new at the same time.

Exactly! A different reader finds nuances that the writer didn't intend or notice.
