Sometimes it's the little things...

Screaming in the shower to Judas Priest and AC/DC while the hot water runs through my hair.

Watching my grumpy lady-bunny eating grass as fast as she can, fierce and determined, glaring at us like we might be about to take up the turf.

Breathing in the scent of damp wood chips as I walk past the garden centre on my daily walk.

Realising that it's still light at quarter to four these days.

Remembering that I actually like to climb hills.

Laughing like an idiot at Derry Girls, despite having seen it so many times I could nearly recite the script.

Freshly laundered sheets.  Warm cake.  A bud on the rowan tree.  Someone asking "are you OK?" and actually giving a damn about the answer.  

The little things have made a big difference this week.

(And to anyone who says otherwise, the difference between oxygen and fluorine is one proton, something so small it's measured in trillionths of a mm. Oxygen keeps you alive. Fluorine will kill you.)

I'm glad to hear there were good things. And the bunny description brought back memories of my grumpy old lady bunnies. Maybe it's just my luck, but I always felt female bunnies had much more character than the blokes!

I have almost always had bucks so my experience with does is quite limited. I've always found bucks very sociable and loving, once neutered. On the other hand, Nebula (grumpy old lady bun) doesn't really like human contact and isn't particularly keen on other rabbits, but we don't know anything about her past, not even how old she is - she was literally left outside a rescue centre in a cardboard box. It might be more to do with her history than her sex.

Peggy, our baby girl (not so baby now, really - she's growing fast!) is mostly very good tempered. She does have her stroppy moments, but I have found lops to be quite, er, characterful in general; my boy lops were pretty strong willed too. I had one that used to chase cats.

Your little things all sound wonderful! And yeeeees, Derry Girls! That’s one of my favorite shows ever, I’d like to rewatch it sometime soon for a little more joy :)

My favorite episode is the one with the dog and the priest, personally, although they’re all so good and it’s been so long since I’ve seen it.

They are such a good comfort watch. I think my favourite is the one where they go to the Take That concert. ("It's the polar bear!")
