Snowflake 2020 - Day 4
Jan. 7th, 2020 03:52 pmChallenge #4: In your own space, set some goals for the coming year. They can be fannish or not, public or private.
Goals...hmm. Last year I made a long, long list and I didn't even hit half of them - which is fine, I said at the time it wasn't a stick to beat myself with, and I did not expect to be moving to Scotland in 2019, which threw a lot of things out of kilter. Even so, let's be a little more realistic this year.
Fannish
1) Co-mod the Tolkien Reverse Summer Bang again.
2) Take part in the following fandom exchanges:
I may do others if time and energy levels permit (Hurt/Comfort Exchange and Trick or Treat are on the reserve list) but I don't want to over-commit and burn myself out.
3) Work on Summer's Song and The City Over the Mountains. I will almost certainly write other things too, but those are my priorities from a longfic perspective.
Personal
1) Drink more water, instead of automatically reaching for fizzy drinks.
2) Keep a list of the books I read through the year.
3) Learn basic Gaelic. (I've made a start but I'm at the very, very early stages of this. By the end of the year I'd like to be able to construct actual sentences, use tenses properly etc.)
